some cosmetic brands have started to formulate products that are labeled as "PFAS-free" or free from certain harmful chemicals, including PFAS.

It's really hard to find out if there's PFAS in your cosmetics. Sometimes it's listed as an ingredient but sometimes it's not mentioned.

 One easy test to see if there may be PFAS in your cosmetic is to put the makeup on a piece of paper . 

Then put a drop of water on and then see if the makeup is still there the next day or not . PFAS have been associated with obesity, cancer, infertility.
